Today was a very peaceful and productive day… and also not productive.
It’s amazing how one can waste an hour here and there if they are on the internet.
I was doing my home-work then I got the sensation that I should research good DIY projects for organizing recycling. (I found a design actually that I would like to mimic from Etsy) then my wheels got turning and I decided I want to put a compost in my house as well.
We SHOULD be moving into our place soon- as, they are suppose to be finished today…but well, we will see. Regardless, I probably won’t do these projects until the new year, because my “handyman” parents are coming! My parents, who are retired teachers- built their home all by themselves…and well a little help from their “handymen” children at times. My mom really feels although she was a carpenter in her past life. So anyways, I will get them to help me build my attractive solution for recycling and compost. I am kind of wondering if I would be able to make a big one and put it outside the apartment building- and that way, my neighbors could also recycle and compost easily if they want. I will need to look into a few things.
Just for my reference in the new year- these are the ideas that I thought best suited us.

Sorry, Just I get a bit excited about having a place where we will have space to have recycling and compost. For the past year we were recycling some things, but not nearly as much as we should have been. Now I am living in a place where the garbage truck knows that if you have your recycling next to the garbage in a clear bag- it’s recycling. And as long as you follow the protocols for cleaning your recyclable material- you are actually able to recycle quite a bit here. Also the first Friday of every month, you can bring all kind of recyclable things to the Skate Park. I will be going down there this Friday- so will have more to say about that then!
Today I enjoyed a beautiful day, went snorkeling from my yard out to the beach and tonight I had a nice Asana practice. I am feel high energy, happy and ready to do a bit more home-work before I go to bed. Sweet dreams!
