Crash… into me.
When I was in your boat, I felt so safe. So secure. I couldn’t get deeper into your embrace. I wanted to drown in the comfort of your softness, warmth, your smell, your earthiness- and then the sun came.
It first was fun- then it was uncomfortable, it was heating and aggravating- it was transforming… it was re-birthing and when it rested it’s wicked hot rays… we…. no longer where there. You had dried up and abandoned ship. I had dried up and floated away.
And so it was.
I floated on. I floated up. I floated around and high.
And now it’s time to ground… the ocean is evaporating and it’s makes me heavy. It makes me happy.
Soon the humidity will bring me back down to the waves and there… they will guide me into the next Buoy.
