Yay! Today my certificate came from my Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist program that I completed in March! The timing of things just is to funny as TOMORROW I finally begin my internship.
This may look like a piece of paper to you- but to me, it represents a lot… A LOT of energy to make this happen. Financially and physically. My goal was to stay out of being burdened by debt while studying – and I have succeeded so far, but I still have 6 more months to go as well as my ambitious plans of returning to Indian to continue my Panchakarma training.
Life as a student isn’t easy- but I am grateful that I have had support from my community and just live in a beautiful place where I can watch the sunset every night for free.
Last year I studied and had Ayurveda as my focus for the entire year- it was a lot of personal and book homework, 19 tests and a paper but I finished with a great grade and a lot of experience. When I had the opportunity to go back to Canada to work for 2.5 months I was working 10.5-13 hour days and then studying after and all day on any day off… it was something that I just wanted to do and needed to do- so did it.
Now tomorrow starts the next chapter of my education. (I was originally going to start this is in May in English- but I was inspired to try and do this next chapter – so waited until now to do this in Spanish) At 9am I’ll be in class online with my new classmates from all over Latino America – beginning to work with people to create lifestyle and diet plans designed for their unique needs. To say the least- I have been waiting 5 years for this.
Truth: Over the past years I have been burdened by the high cost of education I have been pursuing. At some times I have even been angry at the cost and felt overwhelmed by the amount I was being asked to pay. Especially at the beginning when I wasn’t even sure if Ayurveda would be something I would be able to make ends meet with- but over the past 3 years even, I am seeing a shift in society and meeting more People interested in Ayurveda…interested in taking control of their own health. There are many Ayurveda courses now that give people intros into Ayurveda, but I paid a price for a really high quality program. I made a good decision to begin studying Ayurveda on a professional level… and the burden of paying money is a belief system of yesterday. Is a burden of the past. From today forward- My new belief system is that I am going to have abundance working with my passion and helping people. My teachers are making money- that they deserve. People see the value in their health with a professional. I am a forever student but I am also a teacher. I am intuitive and qualified to help people find balance in their lives if they choose to book with me and follow their specialized goals.
Well my musing for now! Hari om.
I actually need to share more later about some things that happened in the past two weeks- some real crazy manifesting and experiences, and sadness… and I think I am understanding more about my heart and I think I will be relieving stuff soon.
Note for later: Soulmate, consciousness, small world, manifesting, 7 weeks soul meditation, past love of families.
