They told me: Go to Tatiwari, go to the fire, ask it for help- talk to it- be honest- offer it tobacco, seeds, love…

I did, and I felt the connection. I heard it and allowed this to begin guiding me, healing me…

Then they told me, continue talking with Tatiwari every night, light the candle- offer it, tell it what you are working on…put it on your alter. 

Do this at least for 5 days and 5 nights.

So I did- I kept the vibration alive, my connection to Tatiwari alive…and it worked, I felt connected, I felt movement…I felt healing.

This was with one of the oldest groups of Indigenous people in Mèxico.

This is the same as when I went to Church as a girl, and I talked to God … and I offered my service and money and prayers.

When I lit candles, when I served behind the alter.

This is the same as when I went to the temples and gave rice and flowers to Ganesh or when I went to the Holy Gangas of India and spiritually bathed in her waters asking her for clarity. Or did Punja and offered prayers to the fire.

This is the same as yesterday when I went to the ocean…and sat down and meditated and connected with the ocean, and talked to it, asked it to purify me, to help me and it did…

My dear friends, I was raised Catholic and felt the connection with God and still have this connection. I remember talking to him out loud…

I now believe in re-incarnation and connect with many elements of the Hindu religion…

I connect with more and more things from Buddhism the more I study it…

I connect with some indigenous ways of believing that the natural world is real-that the rocks are gods or deities… I have seen this. This is my truth.

I have been connected to the plants, I have heard them, I have allowed them to heal me, I use them daily as medicine to calm me and create Satvic energy.

What my realization (for me) is … WHATEVER I honor, give respect to, love, worship, offer to, SURRENDER to… focus on, day and night, whatever I choose to believe…if I really give it my energy… if I really connect my HEART to it… it begins to heal me. 

What I also realize is… although I feel the connection strongest when I am in ceremony and have more action, and give physical offerings and really put energy into it, when I make a effort to travel somewhere famous or holy… although I always have strong connection then… there has been many nights in my life that when I just sat- where ever I was… at the beach at my cabin, here in Puerto Escondido… a dusty trail going nowhere…When I sat and connected with my heart… I could connect with God, Tatiwari, Ganesh, Ocean, Tree… because we are always connected.

If you ever feel disconnected from source, from God… from light… just take time to connect with your heart. The heart if your seat of consciousness. 

If you have the opportunity, go out to Nature… talk out loud, light a fire- talk to the fire… go to the ocean- talk to the ocean… go to the church, talk to God… Go to the church and talk to the Priest… or go to a Peyote ceremony and talk to the Fire. But go… just go, have faith that what you want, desire will come true… even if you have blocks still. Even if you are poor still. Just go and give. Give. Give. Give. But be ready receive.  Even if you never were taught how.

Tonight I will go to a circle with Women, to talk to the moon, dance in her glow and see the reflection of myself in the eyes of beautiful women… and there too- I will be connecting with the Devine.
