Today.

Today I was smart. Today I awoke before the sun rose.
I drank my warm lemon water… and I left my house. I never saw a soul. Perfect, no distractions, now I can try and connect with mine.(soul) I left my yard and the the cold morning ground… I entered the warm ocean. I floated off the earth onto the water and there I seeked the sun. I found the sun rising in a beautiful pink sky… I watched the calm ocean generating so much energy- yet playing a relaxing melody that my breath was able to connect with. I relaxed. I paddled.
I balanced. I struggled. I wobbled. My mind was busy. My mind was quiet. I was distracted. I was in the moment. I was up and then down. I twisted, I balanced, I stretched, I balanced…. and then there was no more I… there was quiet. Ocean. Birds. Breath. White light. Ocean. Breath. Birds. People. Rock. Breath. Breath. White light. Nothing.Everything.

When I came home and walked on the earth once again after almost 2 hours on water I was a woman with a smile. I shared fruit juice and lemon water with my family, went for a walk with my dog- took care of everything that needed to be taken care of now and now ready to enjoy mantra and ready my Ayurveda text book.

This was my first time practicing yoga on a paddle board during sun rise. It is SO beautiful here. The clear, animal filled water- the coral imprinted rocks, yellow birds, lush jungle plants, bright flowers, white sand….soft, fresh air…

I think I might just need to make this spectacular experience part of my weekly regime! 🙂 Thank-you Universe. Thank-you Mother Nature. Thank-you Mexico. Thank-you Puerto Aventuras. Thank you Patanjali. Thank you inventor of Paddle Board. Thank you Self.

Yesturday:

Was a great day as well, a morning full of sharing and caring. My Uncle and I made fruit juices for the entire day. We made green juice and root juice. We then decided to take all the leftover fiber and make soup. It was a risk… in the fiber we had green apple, cucumber, ginger, zucchini, lettuce, spinach, beats and a few other vegetables. I don’t know what I am doing wrong with my fruit juicer, I will need to do research today about why it throws away so much fiber. (Big chunks of vegetable, that surely there is more juice in.) I cooked it with a little bit of garlic for an hour and then I blended it up to a purée.  It was delicious, actually everyone in my family ate it …. Served with fried white onions in chicken stock cubes and dallop of greek yogurt and fresh dill. We also enjoyed the fresh red cabbage salade I prepared the night before.(Red cabbage, green onion, carrot, raddish, garlic flakes, olive oil, natural soy sauce, apple cider vinegar and sea salt).  Yesterday I enjoy being on the Paddle board as well- I balanced for my first time on one foot… fell into the water, then got up and tried it again more successfully. I began reading my Ayurveda Phycology chapter and am finding it very interesting so far. I also was able to chat with a few people in Canada for some hours, that I really needed to. It was a perfect day full of a nice balance of fresh, healthy food, family, friends, yoga, nature and my dog.
Oh I also shared two different batches of Kombucha with my Aunty and Uncle… and they really liked both bottles…. however, I realize now that I wasn’t making Kombucha… I actually was making Jun tea… but actually- I don’t know how but I have very healthy Jun scobies even though I was feeding them something they aren’t use to having. They live off of Honey and Green tea- but I was making them with Black tea and White Sugar, because I thought it was Kombucha Scobies…
Well anyways, I have a lot of Jun scobies that are healthy… I put some in my fridge to keep them going when I was going to be going away- and they seem to be doing okay, even though you are not suppose to put Jun in the fridge either…
Well we will see 🙂 It says that Jun brews faster than Kombucha and has higher alcohol content… which I believe, since the other today I really felt like I had a nice buzz after I drank a bottle. Well yesterday I made 2 new batched of tea-this time with honey and green tea- so we will see if these scobies that I have enjoy this mixture and can switch from black tea to green tea 🙂 (Fingers crossed)

Yesterday I disappointedly had to throw away my sprouts that I had started at the beginning of the week. It was my first time growing them and I never read the instructions properly, that you need to rinse them everyday after the first initial days…so they became kind of fermented smelling. I decided to throw them away and this time practice with lentil that I had in my kitchen. They are suppose to be easy to grow.  Will see in 4 more days 🙂

Time to carry on.
